Arlington Automotive North East, the automotive parts manufacturer and supply chain consolidator, has received the bronze award from the Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS).
The ERS is awarded to UK employers who support people who serve or have served in the Armed Forces, and their families.
Arlington was recognised for its commitment and support for defence personnel following the company’s decision to integrate ex-servicemen and women into their workplace. Having formed a close allegiance with the Royal Engineer Reservists, Arlington now has five ex-servicemen working at its Newton Aycliffe facility.
Mark Franckel, Arlington Industries Group CEO, said: “We’re delighted to have been officially recognised by the ERS. The local Armed Forces mean a lot to Arlington, and this award is testament to our belief in integrating local heroes and benefitting from their unique skills.”
