Arlington Automotive launches new factory in Michigan

Tuesday, October 29th, 2019

At Arlington Automotive, we’ve got some big news – we’re delighted to be opening a brand new wholly-owned factory in Michigan, U.S.A.

The opening of the factory marks an exciting new chapter for us.

Following our acquisition of the Wahler thermostat business from BorgWarner, their assets will be moved to our new facility in Michigan. Now this is exciting in itself – not only is Michigan the automotive heartland of the United States, but other major automotive OEMs are relocating or opening nearby.

The new Michigan factory represents the perfect opportunity for us to enhance our supply of automotive technology and will be home to our Arlington Thermal Management and Arlington Engineered Systems divisions.

Arlington Thermal Management provides thermal management and flow control technology for combustion, hybrid and electric vehicles. Whereas Arlington Engineered Systems provides electrical, fluid & air, mechanical and aftermarket module assemblies to automotive OEMs.

The new facility adds to our global expansion outside of the UK. With technology and brands to suit all automotive applications, Arlington Automotive offers customers an unrivalled choice in brand, technology and service through a truly global footprint.

As you might have guessed, we’re very proud of our new factory.

It’s a move that not only shows the continued strength of Arlington Industries Group but will also deliver significant benefits to the industry. Wherever in the world our OEM and Tier One customers are, and whatever the application or technology required.
